One of the fundamental aspects of good health and safety is the preparation of a suitable and sufficient risk assessment. Contrary to popular belief, this does not always have to be in a written form and some small businesses can benefit from the exemption that applies where there are less than 5 employees. Other exemptions are currently being considered by parliament, particularly where the hazards associated with the buisness are small.
Whilst we can prepare a written risk assessment, we believe that it is important to involve you in the process so that you have a firm understanding of the implications.
